Whitney and I picked up some Foster Kittens to try and brighten our days after some really bad stuff going on in our lives.

As some of you know from my Facebook and Instagram posts, my best friend, brother, & Road Manager -Richard Pierce- was recently Murdered a few days ago. Some of you may remember him from my more recent Deadstar Assembly Videos and DVDs. Whitney's friend was also unfortunately killed around the same exact time he was after a bad car accident and we both had to hear about our friends' deaths the same day. I have been dreading editing these happier videos but I'm so behind and wanted to finally try to lift some of the darkness that is in our lives currently.

Whitney and I picked up some foster kittens and have been trying to socialize them a bit more since they are going to some good homes and not able to be used as Barn Cats. They are too cute and cuddly and would never make it living outside so we wanted to make sure they were friendly and used to people as well as other animals. We took them out during the Eclipse and let them play with the other animals daily to make sure they retained a friendly approach to everything they encountered.

today is Rich's Birthday and I'm going to try to muster up some energy to put together a bunch of videos and clips to remember him by here on the channel. Please send me good vibes, I really need them right now!

We are planning a benefit concert at the Culture Room in Ft Lauderdale FL which was our hometown hangout spot. His band Rambler will be performing with Deadstar Assembly and we will be having some raffles and donation boxes that will be going to his family.

This whole thing really sucks and I hope that each and every one of you realize how quickly your loved ones can be snatched away from you. Please be sure to tell them how much you love them every day, as I did every time Rich and I spoke. I always ended the conversation with, "I love you and miss you so much, dude!" This breaks my heart that we can't talk daily anymore. I would message him at 3-4am all the time just to see if he was doing ok and he did the same for me. This just really blows... a lot. More details in the upcoming video about what happened. This is going to be a really difficult one to edit so please bear with me while I get everything together.
